Trail Safety
Trails are designed with your safety in mind and are marked with miniature traffic signs. It is important to heed these signs, just as you would on any roadway. Parents, this is a great opportunity to teach your children the rules of the road.
Following these basic courtesy rules will also provide an enjoyable time for all trail users:
- Stay to the right
- Try not to walk more than two abreast
- Remember, pedestrians have the right-of-way
- Pass on the left
- Ring a bell or use a verbal warning when passing
- Dog owners, please clean up after your pets
Was That A Coyote?
Coyote sightings along our trails have resulted in an informational brochure. Learn more about coexisting with these wild-by-nature animals.
