Click here to register online. You may also walk-in or call in your registrations on the advertised registration date.

Do I have to pay for my programs when I register?
Yes, payment must be included with your registration materials. If you do not get into the programs you want, your payment will be refunded in full.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for all registrations.

When does non-resident registration begin?

  • Non-resident registration dates are listed in each program catalog and usually begin approximately two weeks following resident registration.

Why doesn't the Park District open classes that have filled to include wait-listed people?
Each class has a maximum enrollment set by the instructor in cooperation with the Park District. Although the Park District will not allow more than the maximum number of participants to register, whenever possible, we add additional sections to accommodate wait-listed people.

Why do so many programs have strict age/grade guidelines?
We require children to be the appropriate age/grade on the first day of class because we believe that participating in programs with others their own age makes children more comfortable and increases their self-confidence.

Who can I contact with "new" program ideas?
You can fill out a suggestion form at either Prairie Point or the Civic Center, or you can email Ginny Bateman, Director of Recreation and Marketing, at gbateman@oswegolandpd.org.

Is babysitting available for classes?
Babysitting is available during many fitness classes as indicated in our program catalog. For detailed information about babysitting fees and procedures, click here.

Do you offer an after-school program?
Yes, Kid's Connection is a before- and after-school recreational program offered by the Oswegoland Park District in cooperation with School District 308. Kid's Connection is available to students in grades K-5 at all District 308 elementary schools. For more information about Kid's Connection, click here.

Can I visit my child's class?
Because children focus better and have more fun when distractions are kept to a minimum, we ask parents not to visit their children's classes unless invited by the instructor. Our instructors welcome the chance to discuss student progress with parents outside of class.

Do you have race registration forms?
Call 630.896.2016 or 630.554.1010 or email registration@oswegolandpd.org to be placed on the mailing list for any or all of our races. Entry forms for the PrairieFest 5K, the Triathlon, and the Gobbler Hobbler 10K are mailed 4-6 weeks prior to the event. You can also download race forms from the special event page six weeks prior to any race.
