tumbling, gymnastics, and cheer

USAG Gymnastics

The Oswegoland Park District's gymnastic program offers programs for girls and boys of all ability levels and interests.

Our philosophy is to teach gymnastics as a lifetime sport with an emphasis on developing each child's personal qualities of discipline, movement, perseverance, and self-confidence.

Programs are tailored to fit the interests of all participants. Some wish to progress through skill levels and compete with USAG award winning competitive team, Team Oswego. Others want to learn gymnastic skills or play in the gym for fun and health.

Whether your interest is tumbling, cheerleading, trampoline, or progressive, competitive gymnastics, browse our online brochure to find a program that's just right!

USAG Member Gym

USA Gymnastics is the National Governing Body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States, consistent with the Amateur Sports Act of 1978, the Constitution of the United States Olympic Committee and the International Gymnastics Federation. The mission of USA Gymnastics is to encourage participation and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of gymnastics. Park District instructors are USAG Safety Certified and are USA Gymnastic members or former USA
Gymnastic athletes.

Progressive Gymnastics

Boys and girls can learn gymnastic skills from beginning to advanced levels. Learn and develop skills for vault, high bars, rings, pommel horse, floor, parallel bars and more!

Girls and boys in first grade and above typically enter the Park District's gymnastic program at Level IA, and then progress through levels IB, II, III, and IV at the recommendation of their instructors.

Curriculum is based on USA Gymnastics for Girl’s Level 1-4 progressions and Boy’s progressions. Students are evaluated at the end of each session to determine their readiness to safely move to the next progression of skills.

"Just for Fun" Tumbling Meets

At the end of every other tumbling and gymnastics session, all students, age 3 and older, are invited to participate in a "Just for Fun" tumbling meet. Bring your camera and capture your little one in action! . Contact Jennifer McFall at 630.554.4450 with questions.

We’ve Got Your Style!

Purchase your leotards for gymnastics right at Boulder Point. A wide selection of styles, sizes, and colors is available. Ask to see our selection next time you’re at the gym. Leotards make great gifts for gymnastic friends too, and we have gift certificates!

Preschool Play

Understanding that kids just want a chance to play, learn and grow, we offer many classes for little ones ages two and up that encourage healthy, active play, just for the fun of it!

Progressive Preschool and Preschool Play Classes are based on the nationally recognized “Tumble Bear” program created by leading expert Patti Komara.

Your little one will enjoy the Tumble Trac, trampoline, squishy mats, foam pit, magic carpet squares, and a wide variety of gymnastic play equipment.

Baby Bouncers, Play-nastics, Come Play With Me, and Tumbling Tots with Parent require a parent or other adult caregiver to participate in class with the child. For other classes such as Jumping Beans, Little Bouncers, and Tumbling Tykes, parents are asked to stay in the building. Observe your child's fun through the one-way mirror in the lobby!

Browse our online brochure to find the perfect class for you and your active little one.
