About “As We Grow” preschool

In the “As We Grow’ preschool program, three and four year olds are encouraged to learn and grow in a friendly classroom environment.  We currently have openings!

Children will practice following a daily routine, cooperating with others, following directions and making friends. 

Areas of concentration include artistic and literacy development, fine and large motor skill development, science, circle time and creative playtime.  Children will be exposed to early math and reading concepts as well as a variety of art and sensory materials to explore!

Registration for School Year 2008/2009

Openings are available for three and four year old preschool for the 2008-2009 School Year.  Please contact Lynne at 630.554.4458 for openings and information.

To register for preschool, you must include:

• A 2008-2009 Preschool Registration Form
• A DHS (Department of Human Services) Health Form filled out and signed by your child’s physician
• A $35 non-refundable registration fee
• Two proofs of residency if you are an Oswegoland Park District resident (such as a tax bill, current utility bill, or valid drivers license)

Registrations will not be processed unless all of the above information is included.  If you are moving to the area before September, you may include a copy of the contract of sale with your registration form.

The tentative start and end dates for preschool for the school year 2008-2009 are Monday, Sept. 8, 2008-Friday, May 29, 2009. 

Tuition is based in the total number of days the class meets and then divided into 8 equal monthly payments.  The fees are expected to be:

• $108 (Resident)/$117 (Non-Residents) - for the 2 day program (T TH)
• $150 (Resident)/$159 (Non-Resident) - for the 3 day program (MWF)
  

Preschool classes

Thoroughly 3's (children must be 3 by Sep. 1)
Pre-kindergarten (children must be 4 by Sep. 1)

Teacher to student ratio

A teacher or aide to student ratio of at least 1:7 enables us to give each child the individual attention he or she deserves.

Location and times

Preschool classes meet at
Civic Center, 5 Ashlawn Avenue in Montgomery
Boulder Point, Zero Boulder Hill Pass
South Point, 810 Preston Lane in Oswego.

• Morning classes - 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
• Afternoon classes - 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
