Lakeview Park is getting a new look this summer. Its playstructure will be geared towards 2-5 year olds with swings, a spinner, and hammock. New benches and a shelter with picnic tables will provide places to relax. See a concept of the Lakeview Plan.
The Park District will donate the old playstucture to Kids Around the World, a non-profit organization whose mission is to refurbish and reuse playground equipment in underprivileged areas around the world. Volunteers from Kids Around the World will remove the old park.
