Reserve a Park Shelter
The Park District provides several reservable outdoor shelter locations for your next family party, reunion, or community group picnic. Reserving the shelter provides your group with a space to gather and share a meal while enjoying the great outdoors.
Reservations open annually on January 2 for Residents and April 1 for Non-Residents.

Community Park at Grande Park
26333 Grande Park Blvd, Plainfield
The large field offers areas for outdoor recreation, roller hockey, a playground, grills, and a shelter available with picnic tables. Seats up to 100 people.

Hudson Crossing Park
65 North Harrison St, Oswego
The Riverfront area offers a playground, shelter with picnic tables and grills, and river access and is adjacent to the Fox River Trail. Seats 50 people.

Jaycee Park
134 Saugatuck Road, Oswego
Small playground with a large field adjacent to the bike path. The shelter features six picnic tables, two grills, and a playground. Seats 60 people.

Prairie Point Community Park
4120 Plainfield Road, Oswego
Picnic shelter, splash pad, grills, and skate park with large field offering space for outdoor recreation. Seats up to 40 people.

Violet Patch Park
1425 Route 25, Oswego
The open area offers two picnic shelters with tables. Adjacent to Fox River Trail and bridge over Fox River. Seats 20-25 people.
Waa Kee Sha Park
4700 Reservation Road, Oswego
Large park with nature trail offering outdoor recreation. Picnic shelter with two grills and playground. Seats up to 50 people.
