Bridging Awareness Feature

Many groups, foundations, and organizations have adopted ribbons as symbols of support or awareness. Join the Park District’s DEI and Wellness Committees to Bridge Awareness for causes that are important to you by displaying a ribbon on the Hudson Crossing Park Bridge.

Visit the Oswegoland Park District booth at the County Market on Main Street, Sundays through September 24, to select a ribbon that is significant to you. Then stop by the pedestrian bridge at Hudson Crossing Park to add the ribbon to the community display.

Combined, our rainbow of ribbons will bring additional awareness to many important causes and create a piece of public art for Oswegoland to enjoy this summer.

Various causes may often share the same, or similar, color ribbon(s). Below is an abridged list of colors and causes. If there is a color or cause not represented in the list below, you are welcome to bring your own ribbon to the Bridge to add to the collection.
