For the Oswegoland Park District, "creating opportunities for a healthy community" means providing parks, playgrounds, and natural areas where you and your family can play, gather, celebrate, learn, and enjoy nature.
We own and maintain 64 parks across 1,290 acres.

All Parks are open from dawn to dusk.

Sled Hill Regulations
- Sledding is a hazardous activity and presents substantial risks. Sled at your own risk.
- No supervision is provided.
- Parents are responsible for their children.
- Users assume full responsibility for determining if conditions are safe for sledding.
- Use caution when sledding and be considerate of others.
- Return to top of hill along outside edge of sledding area.
- Building ramps, jumps, or moguls is prohibited.
Watercraft Policy
Watercraft is allowed on Bartlett Prairie/Wetland, Whispering Woods, and Briarcliff Woods Lake by permit only. Print a boating permit application.
The Oswegoland Park District issues permits for the use of athletic fields and facilities to organizations and the general public for recreational activities and programs. View the guide and usage request forms.
