All classes held at Boulder Point
Gymnastic Testing: Gymnasts’ progression will be tracked every session and formal evaluations will be given in April, July and December. Should the gymnast demonstrate mastery of skills prior to the evaluation, they will be invited to the next level by their instructor. If your child is returning to the program after being absent for more than one session or is new to the program, an evaluation will need occur before registering. Please contact Brieanne at 630.554.4456 to schedule the evaluation.

One adult per child will participate under the direction of an instructor. Basic gymnastics skills, terminology, and body positions are taught in an age-appropriate manner through play. Emphasis is placed on exploration and developing the skills necessary to transition smoothly into our Tumbling Tykes program. Adult participants are educated on how to safely interact with their child in the gymnastics environment. (JM)

Completion of this course is comparable to completion of our Girls’ Level 2 course. We track skill progression every session and formally evaluate each child in May, August, and December. This class is especially designed for boys and girls interested in learning the gymnastic art of tumbling. Strengthening, conditioning, and flexibility activities are also included to develop the skills necessary for promotion to Tumbling Advanced.
