Act it Out – Snow White

Hi ho! It’s off to play we go. Bring the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to life through theatre games and character building that explore acting through voice and movement. This class culminates in a performance for family and friends. Actors will read and memorize their own lines. (CV)

Improv Studio

Create comedy in the moment and entertain on your feet with Improv! Learn the skills to help you think fast, the techniques to find the funny, and the confidence to make big bold choices. Say, “Yes, and…” to the improv games and exercises that you may know from Second City or “Whose Line Is It Anyway”. This is a great way for young actors to prepare to join Limelight’s Fries with That? improv performance group! (CV)

Sing it Out: Heroes & Villains

Get ready to sing, dance, and act your way through songs and scenes featuring your favorite heroes & villains! Face off center stage as participants develop characters and musical numbers to be rehearsed and performed for family and friends on the last day of class. This collaborative class builds young actor’s performance skills through song, dance, creative discussion, theatre games, and performance preparation. New and experienced actors looking for a creative way to develop exciting characters and can find their niche here. (CV)

Radio Play – And Then There Were None

Based on an Agatha Christie novel, this closed-room mystery is the ultimate battle of wits. Ten houseguests of a mysterious mansion-owner must confront their own guilt and secrets in a deadly game of cat and mouse as their ranks grow smaller by the minute. The cause? Murder! Try to solve the mystery as the story progresses, before you (and the guests) run out of time! Actors who have been cast in each Radio Play will rehearse all day on Saturday for a 7:00pm performance at the Little White School Museum. (CV)
