The Oswegoland Park District offers a variety of Martial Arts classes for all skill levels.
PRE-KARATE – Through a variety of fun and creative activities, children will develop coordination, strength and personal safety skills in a supervised setting. Children will learn skills that develop memory and agility to help them in school and other sports.
YOUTH – Builds coordination, agility, strength and poise, as well as personal safety skills, along with skills to release tension brought on by school and peers. The confidence gained through Karate helps foster a strong positive self-image, control and discipline.
ADULT – Ideal for releasing tension and developing cardiovascular fitness. The self-defense skills taught are invaluable if ever confronted with a dangerous situation. Karate movements develop poise and agility while improving overall muscle tone. Youth and adult classes will train together.
