Summer is on the horizon and there’s no better way to keep cool than spending time in the water. Oswegoland is home to several public lakes, Fox River parks, and two outdoor swimming pools. Grab your swim suit or a tackle box and jump out into some fun in the sun.
Benefits of Swimming
Swimming is both a strength building and cardio exercise with low-impact on joints and bones. All that extra oxygen boosts happiness, reduces pain, and lowers heart rate and blood pressure. Both our locations, Winrock Pool and Civic Center Aquatic Park have public swimming hours, scheduled swim lessons, and are home to the Otters swim team.
Enjoying the Outdoors
Find yourself a catch at Oswegoland’s easy access lakes and rivers. Boat launches are available at Briarcliff Park, Whispering Woods Park, Bartlett Prairie/Wetland, Farmington Lakes and several points along the Fox River. A free permit is required for all our lakes and can be obtained at our Prairie Point location. Whether you’re fishing or paddling in your kayak, reel in some tranquility at our natural water areas.
Swim Team
Strap your goggles on tight, the Otters swim team offers friendly and competitive meets with local teams. No matter your skill-level, you’ll be challenged to develop your competitive swimming skills. Foster friendships and feel your team spirit fire up, every stroke of the way. For the past 23 years, the Otters have been part of the NCISC and will compete in Conference A for 2017.

Don’t miss the incredible pre-season pool pass sale. Both residents and non-residents can purchase their pass for only $59! Hurry and snatch a pass while they’re still available – April 1-15. Passes are valid at both Winrock Pool and Civic Center Aquatic Park.
