The Oswegoland Park District offers all-day recreational care for children age 3, 4 and 5 at South Point.
Jr. Kid’s Connection is open most non-holiday days off school. There is an additional charge for attendance on full days and half days off school, including Winter Break Camp and Spring Break Camp.
All Day Care with Preschool
Jr. Kid’s Connection includes dedicated classroom time for preschool curriculum. Children who are three or five years old will enjoy three hours of preschool specific curriculum included in their daily activities. Perfect for working parents, any child who missed the Kindergarten cut-off date, or children who are ready for a longer day of enrichment activities. Teachers plan activities that allow children to explore, inquire, play, and discover while following the Illinois Early Learning Standards, and incorporating the Jolly Phonics Program, to help children meet goals for their age. Daily activities may include art projects, large motor skill development, trips to local businesses and libraries, reading, life skills, writing, cooking, socializing, and games. Children must be toilet-trained.
Program is available from 6:15am to 6:15pm, Monday through Friday. A hot breakfast, lunch, and snack included. Parents may choose from a full-time or part-time program, with children attending two to five days per week.
“I have had 3 children go through the program and can’t say enough good things about the staff and program. The other 2 were fully prepared for kindergarten, and I know my 3rd will be as well. The staff has met their needs academically and more importantly socially. I recommend it to anyone that will listen.”

Oswegoland Park District is proud to announce our use of ePACT- an online system to collect and manage our participants’ emergency information and waiver releases. This replaces our traditional Health and Emergency form. ePACT is an online emergency network, where you can securely add, manage, and share your child’s key health and emergency contact details with us.
After you register, you’ll receive an email invitation that will guide you through a few quick steps to set up your account and share your child’s information with us. This must be completed before your child can begin the program. Please contact the Registration Coordinator if you have any questions. 630.554.4064
