Cancellations & Closures
All Park District programs and activities are cancelled and all facilities are closed through March 30, 2020.
While the Oswegoland Park District has no confirmed COVID-19 cases as of March 13, we are exercising an abundance of caution. The Park District closure follows Oswego School District 308 and recommendations from public health officials to minimize exposure to participants and staff.
The only exception to the closure is Election Day polling at Boulder Point on Tuesday, March 17.
The Park District will continue to work closely with local city, school, and health department authorities to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will re-evaluate the situation and inform the community of any decisions. The Park District anticipates resuming regular operations on Tuesday, March 31.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and make decisions based on the health and well-being of our community.
Rescheduling & Refunds
We appreciate your patience as our program supervisors work through scheduling considerations and process refunds. Some programs and activities will be rescheduled. Our customer service staff will be refunding participants for cancelled programs and events. This will be on a pro-rated basis where applicable. Please note: it may take 14-30 days to process refunds.
Protect Yourself and Others!
We urge all residents to follow the CDC’s tips by staying home if sick; avoiding close contact with people who are sick; covering coughs and sneezes; avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth; and washing hands with soap and water. For more information and recommendations, go to:
